Sightseeing Garmisch-Partenkirchen Zugspitze
From the Bavarian capital Munich there are many destinations for half-a-day excursions. Among these destinations you can find the climatic health resort of Garmisch-Partenkirchen with its home mountain Kochelberg and the well-known pasture Kochelberg-Alm.
The distance between Munich and Garmisch-Partenkirchen is about one hundred kilometres on the A95 highway. The final destination is one hour away and it ends on the direct view of the Zugspitze – Germany’s highest mountain.

We offer a five to six hour day tour to Garmisch-Partenkirchen for a small-scale group of up to eight passengers. The drive in the modern Mercedes Vans is as restful as relaxing. The non-smoking vehicle is air-conditioned and takes you literally at your desired doorstep. At destination you have three hours to get to know the city and its attractions.
There is a great variety of gastronomic cafés, bistros, restaurants and taverns. Tourists can stay in the village for a day or can take other trips in the surrounding area. The walk through the two historical districts Garmisch and Partenkirchen is like a one or two centuries trip back in time. The Michael-Ende-Kurpark spa-gardens are the central meeting points of the village.
An exhibition named after the gardens can be visited daily from 11am to 6pm, except on Mondays.

Means also Shopping in the pedestrian area of the Marienplatz Square. You can find all kinds of boutiques and shops in the centre of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
In the pedestrian area between the main square Marienplatz and the Richard-Strauss Square you can find everything your heart desires; from the traditional Bavarian dress, the “Dirndl” to current designer labels.
Arts and crafts, pottery and goldsmiths are represented as well as souvenir street stands of presents and keepsakes for every taste.
